New from G3 for the 19/20 season, the Escapist Universal climbing skin combines convenient customization in their Universal 100% nylon plush fabric with laminated waterproof backing. Ideal for the all-purpose, go-anywhere user who seeks to maximize grip and durability without sacrificing too much glide performance. The skin is fully customizable, allowing the user to trim the skin to the length of their choosing, and then easily attach the self-aligning stainless steel hands, providing a secure connection with virtually any ski tip shape. Once the tip attachment is secured, the user then trims the skin to width. The setup process is straightforward, with the only required tools being the G3 trim tool (provided) and a marker. We also like the fact that G3 skin adhesive is non-toxic, and is layered with a removable rip-strip for reduced skin to skin adhesion, but can be removed if additional adhesion is desired. *The 50mm width Escapist Glide features a tip loop sized for skinny & nordic-style skis.
